Alice Washbourne
Alice Washbourne is a highly skilled education consultant and advisor, coach and trainer, who empowers individuals to set their own goals and achieve their ambitions. She works with graduates, teachers, school leaders and governors who want to make changes, overcome obstacles and realise potential.
Alice has over twenty years’ experience working in education in schools as a teacher and leader and in school improvement in local authorities. She is Chair of Governors at a local primary school in SE London.
Alice excels at building trusting relationships with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Alice is is a flexible team player who is highly adaptable, positive and eager to meet new challenges. Alice’s qualifications include a BA with Honours in Sociology; PGCE in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages; an MA in Applied Linguistics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personal Coaching (Distinction).
Alice has enabled adults and young people to be more confident and effective, to take risks, experiment and see making ‘mistakes’ as a crucial part of successful learning and development. She believes in the power of individuals to find their own solutions. She is inspired to be part of the process of change and enable people to use their creative potential to achieve the results they want.
